NDE Inspections

Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE) is sometimes used interchangeably with Nondestructive Testing (NDT), Nondestructive Inspection (NDI). Non Destructive Inspection (NDI) is the industrial laboratory process by which parts or materials or entire systems are examined without impairing their future usefulness.

This is in contrast to destructive testing where the part being tested is damaged or destroyed during the inspection process.
